#16 RE: Sammelthread - Was einem so auffällt: Synkopierte lateinische (Verb-) Formen Zitat · Antworten

Zitat
ex-porrĭgo, rexi, rectum, 3 (contr. imper. exporge, Ter. Ad. 5, 3, 53), v. a., to stretch out, spread out, extend (ante-class. and post-Aug.).

Zitat
farnus, i, f. [perh. for franus, contr. from fraxinus],
an ash, ash-tree, Vitr. 7, 1 dub. (al. fraxinus); cf. Pall. 1, 9, 3.

#18 RE: Sammelthread - Was einem so auffällt: ORIOR, ORTUS Zitat · Antworten

ŏrĭor, ortus, fut. part. oriturus, 4 (but with some forms of the 3d conj.: orĭtur, Enn. ap. Fest. p. 305 Müll.; Gell. 4, 17, 14; cf. Cic. Ac. 2, 28, 89; Ter. Hec. 2, 1, 26; Lucr. 3, 272; Verg. A. 2, 411; 680; Hor. S. 1, 5, 39; Ov. M. 1, 774 et saep.: oreris, id. ib. 10, 166; imperat. orere, Val. Max. 4, 7, 7: impf. subj. oreretur, Paul. Nol. Carm. 15, 59; and oreretur and orerentur are the more usual forms in the best MSS.; cf. Haase in Reisig's Vorles. p. 251; Neue, Formenl. 2, p. 418 sq.), v. dep. root or.; Sanscr. ar-; Gr. ορνυμιορινω; v. Curt. Gr. Etym. 348 sq..
[...]

orere steht hingegen drin.

ορ-νυ-μι, ορωρα), sich erheben, aufsteigen,
[...]
Indic. Praes. gew. nach der 3. Konjug. orior, oreris, oritur, orimur, orimini: ebenso Imperf. Coni. oreretur: Imperat. orere, Val. Max. 4, 7, 6. Vgl. Haase zu Reisigs Vorl. A. 293. Neue-Wagener Formenl.3 3, 253 u. 254. – Part. Fut. Akt. oritūrus, Hor. ep. 2, 1, 17. Suet. Galb. 9. – Perf. vulg. orsus est, Ennod. vit. Epiph. p. 347, 23.

Konjugation aufzunehmen. Das werde ich jetzt nachholen.

#20 Sammelthread - Was einem so auffällt: Gen.Plur. CIVITATUM / CIVITATIUM Zitat · Antworten

III. Consonant-Stems that have partially adapted themselves to the Inflection of ĭ-Stems.
40. Many Consonant-Stems have so far adapted themselves to the inflection of ĭ-stems as to take -ium in the Genitive Plural, and -īs in the Accusative Plural. Their true character as Consonant-Stems, however, is shown by the fact that they never take -im in the Accusative Singular, or -ī in the Ablative Singular. The following words are examples of this class:—

Caedēs, f., slaughter; stem, caed-.
Arx, f., citadel; stem, arc-.
Linter, f., skiff; stem, lintr-.
.
SINGULAR.
Nom. caedēs arx linter
Gen. caedis arcis lintris
Dat. caedī arcī lintrī
Acc. caedem arcem lintrem
Voc. caedēs arx linter
Abl. caede arce lintre
.
PLURAL.
Nom. caedēs arcēs lintrēs
Gen. caedium arcium lintrium
Dat. caedibus arcibus lintribus
Acc. caedēs, -īs arcēs, -īs lintrēs, -īs
Voc. caedēs arcēs lintrēs
Abl. caedibus arcibus lintribus

1. The following classes of nouns belong here:—

a) Nouns in -ēs, with Genitive in -is; as, nūbēs, aedēs, clādēs, etc.

b) Many monosyllables in -s or -x preceded by one or more consonants; as, urbs, mōns, stirps, lanx.

c) Most nouns in -ns and -rs as, cliēns, cohors.

d) Ūter, venter; fūr, līs, mās, mūs, nix; and the Plurals faucēs, penātēs, Optimātēs, Samnitēs, Quirītēs.

e) Sometimes nouns in -tās with Genitive -tātis; as, cīvitās, aetās. Cīvitās usually has cīvitātium.

#21 RE: Sammelthread - Was einem so auffällt: Gen.Plur. CIVITATUM / CIVITATIUM Zitat · Antworten

Vielen Dank!

Was soll man dazu sagen...

tundo, tŭtŭdi, tunsum, tūssum, and tusum (v. Neue, Formenl. II. 568), 3 (old collat. form of the perf. tuserunt, Naev. 1, 1: tunsi, acc. to Diom. p. 369 P.; inf. tundier, Lucr. 4, 934), v. a. Sanscr. tu-dāmi, thrust; cf. Gr. τυδευσ, τυνδαρεος, to beat, strike, thump, buffet with repeated strokes.

#29 RE: Sammelthread - Was einem so auffällt: CALIGINOSISSIMUS,-A,-UM und CALIGOSISSIMUS,-A,-UM fehlt Zitat · Antworten
