I'm not pushing or anthing but do we have a rough idea of the release date? I think it was supposed to be last Saturday. I understand that Scotty wanted to make sure that important bugs got fixed which I fully understand. I'm just asking cause I told a few people it would be released on Saturday and I'd like to give them an idea of how much of a delay it's likely to be.
I'd like to do it today. There are two or three easy to fix bugs left, perhaps I should have a look on the configuration assistant, and packaging has to be done. All together work for one day. But it has not been given green by the beta tester yet. So it would be good to hear them as well. PS: Thanks for pushing
But I *really* wasn't pushing, I was just raising the issue that even if there are delay (for which nobody is to blame, after all we're all volunteers and do this in our free time) it's just better to let the community know. It's like waiting for a delayed ferry, it's worse if you know nothing compared to "it's about half a day late due to engine problems".
There is one major bug left. I have to solve some kind of Schrödinger's cat problem: the game has and has not been ended. My present approach to introduce a zero time interval - the cat is alive and dead simultaneously - interferes with other settings. Only quantum algorithms can help now...
Sorry, Scotty! Unfortunately Gero could not make tests with me because he had great internet connection problems. Today he was not online... He didn't come on the server...
But he has updated his router. I hope that we will be able to make tests tomorrow in the evening...
Great :) I'm on Colonsay just now, a tiny island with almost no connectivity but I'll spread the word tomorrow evening/Wednesday. Thanks to everyone on the development/support team!!!!
