Achtung:

Das Wort NILUS ist nicht nur der Eigenname des Flusses Nil, sondern hat auch die übertragene Bedeutung "Kanal, Wasserleitung, Aquädukt":

Das bedeutet im Klartext, dass alle folgenden Formen zulässig sind, obwohl das Lemma im Wörterbucheintrag Nilus mit großem Anfangsbuchstaben geschrieben und somit als Eigenname gehandhabt wird:
