In Scrabble3D, we have an Assistant (see Menu Information) who helps users to make their first configuration steps after having downloaded and installed the program.

I don't know if Scotty intends to implement default settings for Gaelic and Irish in this Assistant, too.

If he will do it, it would be a good idea to think about which settings you would like to get implemented as default settings.

In my table (in German) you will find the settings we are talking about:

That's a question for Kevin, but in passing I noted the spelling Gaeidhilge, is that intentional Kevin?

The Irish rules can be the same as the English (US) rules, thanks for asking.

Michael, where do you see "Gaedhilge"?

When I install Irish as an interface and dictionary, it shows up in the dropdown:

Ah, thanks. Scotty, that native name should be "Gaeilge" - "Gaedhilge" is an old spelling.

I think in the pulldown menu for the letter set it should be written like this :

• Scottish Gaelic (Gàidhlig)

• Irish (Gaeilge)


- as it is written in our subforum names in the forum "Celtic languages"...

Correct, as in "Gaeilge" good, "Gaedhilge" bad

In his test version 27c (11th july 2012) Scotty has finally separated American rules from British rules and implemented them both!

Members are reminded that, from January (i.e. 2012), all ABSP-rated events are played to WESPA rules v2

So I think that we should applicate WESPA rules http://www.wespa.org/rules/RulesV2nov11.pdf in Irish games as well.
