The Fula dictionary: fula.dic

In this thread we'll talk about all the questions concerning our future fula.dic !

If people should be able to play Scrabble in Fula/Fulani language with Scrabble3D, we necessarily need also a word list, i.e. a dictionary file fula.dic.

Who would be able to procure such a Fula word list?

It makes only sense to prepare a localization if you provide a dictionary. It should be a comprehensive word list of your language to allow the computer to be a good opponent. Don't care about formatting, the file should be non-binary with only a few lines at the header.

Unfortunately I cannot find any spell checker dictionary for Fula language yet:

Neither for Open Office: http://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Dictionaries
nor for Libre Office: http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extens...ries=Dictionary

On https://addons.mozilla.org/sv-SE/firefox/language-tools/, I see that there is a Fula language pack, but no Fula word list either.

Thanks for the guidelines. Actually, I am still working on a word list but there is still a lot of "waste" in the corpus and it takes time. That was started to provide a basis for a spellchecker. I have a relatively clean file but very incomplete and almost exclusively dialect biased. But it could be good for a start. Anyway, I am not in a hurry so things will be done progressively.
